WHO WE ARE

Gregory Kolomitz is a professional public, governmental, political, community affairs/organizing consultant with over 30 years of experience.

During his 30+ years in Denver, Kolomitz helped build two well- known public affairs/political consulting firms—CRL Associates and Solutions West.

While at CRL Associates he was part of a team that significantly impacted the Denver skyline and enhanced the quality of life in the metro area and the state of Colorado

During his tenure at CRL Associates, Kolomitz developed expertise in issue based, local, and school funding elections.  Notable elections he coordinated were FastTrack YES, numerous school bond /mill levy campaigns and several land use rights campaigns.

In 2006, Mr. Kolomitz managed Bill Ritter’s Colorado gubernatorial campaign and guided it to an unprecedented 17 point victory.

Solutions West was established in 2007 and quickly developed an influential client list. Working on behalf of universities, non-profits, water districts, chambers of commerce and business entities, Kolomitz achieved significant political and business victories.

Gregory Kolomitz is one of a few consultants/lobbyists with experience working in non-metropolitan Colorado.  Raised in rural Colorado, Kolomitz appreciates, understands rural culture and its values and is always able to share his knowledge and unique insight and perspective with fellow consultants and clients.

Given his up-bringing, relationships, appreciation of rural traditions, and customs, Kolomitz is widely viewed as the “rural consultant”.

Following 30 years of acknowledged success and recognition in the Denver metropolitan area –Fifty for Fifty (Colorado Statesman 2007), Forty under Forty (Denver Business Journal 2005 ) – Kolomitz returned  to his native roots in Southeastern Colorado.

In February 2017 he proudly and excitedly launched KOLOMITZ & COMPANY-another in what he believes, as do many others, will be his third successful and impactful business venture.

Given his record of achievement and understanding of issues facing rural America, in the summer of 2017, Kolomitz was invited by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to participate in an onsite forum to identify key issues facing rural America.

During the November 2017 election cycle Kolomitz was the lead consultant in the successful effort to amend the City of Pueblo, Colorado charter to create a full-time Mayor.

In 2018 Kolomitz served as a senior advisor/ consultant for a Colorado House of Representative race in rural southeastern Colorado—a district that had been held by Republicans and voted for President Trump by 16 points. Under his leadership the first-time Democratic candidate won the seat.

Also during the 2018 election cycle Kolomitz worked as a senior consultant for Pueblo, Colorado mayoral candidate Nick Gradisar. It was another successful campaign with Gradisar winning the run-off election and becoming Pueblo’s first full- time Mayor.

In addition to his Colorado work Kolomitz has also worked nationally as a consultant for local and state ballot measures, Presidential campaigns, United State Senate campaigns and Gubernatorial races.

Additionally, he served as volunteer chairperson for a successful bond issue for the La Junta, Colorado Public Schools.

In January of 2018 Kolomitz was elected to the Board of Directors for the La Junta, Colorado Chamber of Commerce.
